Stars hit the red carpet for the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards rocking some of the best looks we’ve seen all year. Seriously.

The annual event is taking place on Saturday, June 15, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. However, the actual show — hosted this year by Zachary Levi — will air on Monday, June 17.

While we have to wait until then to see this year’s winners we can tide ourselves over with all the gorgeous dresses and styles A-listers wore on the red carpet.

Although the ensembles at this award show tends to skew a tad tamer than the VMAs (A.K.A. the place for nearly-naked outfits), the MTV Movie & TV Awards do typically provide some pretty entertaining red carpet looks. Ranging from fabulous gowns to funky cocktail dress, it’s the perfect place for celebs to test out their fashion boundaries. And this year was no different.

With style stars like Elisabeth Moss, Jameela Jamil , Tessa Thompson , Kiernan Shipka and Tiffany Haddish set to present, we knew we’d spot some seriously killer cool looks.

But this year’s exceeded our expectations with standouts like Lizzo‘s lime green number, which she accessorized with white sneakers, Moss’ silver dragon minidress and Shipka’s Fendi logo frock… just to name a few.
